In 2001, Amie Marchini returned to Merced after graduating from Sacramento State University with a degree in Gerontology. This study of aging, paired with a passion to serve seniors, prepared her to fulfill a critical need in our community. She is the proud owner of Mission Gardens and is personally committed to providing exceptional residential care for seniors. She has recently become a Certified Care Manager and member of the National Association of Professional Care Managers. As a Care Manager and owner of Mission's Care Management, Amie helps families care for older relatives by identifying problems and offering solutions, while encouraging as much independence as possible.
Amie's involvement in the community extends beyond her own business. She is currently the president of the Mercy Medical Center Foundation and hosts monthly Parkinson's Support Group meetings, open to all community members affected by Parkinson's Disease.
